If you reside in the United States and your Private Information was accessed during the targeted cyberattacked on Institute for Human Resources and Services, Inc.'s (“IHRS”) computer systems that occurred in August 2025 (the “Data Breach”), then you may be a Class Member. Excluded from the Settlement Class are: (1) all persons who are directors, officers, and agents of Defendant, or their respective subsidiaries and affiliated companies; (2) governmental entities; and (3) the Judge assigned to the Action, that Judge’s immediate family, and Court staff.
If you are a Settlement Class Member and wish to receive Settlement Benefits then you must submit a Claim Form by December 2, 2026.
IHRS has agreed to pay for a number of Class benefits, which are explained below. All Class Members are eligible to claim two years of Credit Monitoring from CyEx Financial Shield Complete, and one of two Cash Payment options.
Credit Monitoring. All Class Members are eligible to claim two (2) years of CyEx Financial Shield Complete. Enrollment codes have been sent to all Class Members by postcard and/or email. If you no longer have your enrollment code, please contact the Settlement Administrator. This comprehensive service comes with $1 million of financial fraud insurance, and includes monitoring for:
If anything suspicious happens, you will be able to talk to a fraud resolution agent to help fix any problems.
Cash Payment A - Documented Losses. Class Members who incurred actual, documented out-of-pocket losses due to the Data Breach, can get back up to $2,000.00. The losses must have occurred between August 13, 2025, and December 2, 2026, and you cannot claim a payment for expenses that have already been reimbursed by a third party. This benefit covers out-of-pocket expenses like:
losses because of identity theft or fraud
fees for credit reports, credit monitoring, or freezing and unfreezing your credit
cost to replace your IDs
postage to contact banks by mail
You need to submit proof, like bank statements or receipts, to show how much you spent or lost. You can also provide notes or papers you made yourself to explain or support other proof, but those notes or papers alone are not enough to make a valid claim. Your proof or notes should show that your expenses were because of the Data Breach.
Cash Payment B - Alternative Cash Payment. Instead of a payment for documented losses, Class Members may claim a one-time $45.00 cash payment.

The deadline to submit a Claim Form online is December 2, 2026. If you are mailing your Claim Form, it must be mailed with a postmark date no later than December 2, 2026.
